Description
The evaluation method demonstrates to the prospective donor that you take your goals and objectives seriously and want to know how well you have achieved them. Helping to refine and improve the project/program, it is a strategic planning tool.
Style
The Evaluation method usually follows all the other components of the proposal except the addenda and the bibliography.
Elements
There are two types of evaluation methods:
• Measurement of the product.
• Measurement of the process.
Either or both might be appropriate to your project. The type you choose will depend on the nature of your project and its objectives. For either type, you will need to describe the manner in which evaluation information will be collected and how the data will be analyzed.
• You should present a plan for how and when the evaluation will be reported to the donor(s).
